As of the year 2000, Carmen was still the sole owner of the old Vanoni family home located in Aurigeno, Switzerland. The home was abondoned temporarily when Carmen moved to an elder care facility in Locarno. She had a minor injury to her leg on the 1st of January 2026, followed by a flu then by pneumonia. At the time. of her death, exact ownership of her home was not known.
