Giudita came to the United States, probably in the mid 1880’s. She married Charles Pozzi and lived on a ranch near Valley Ford. She is buried in Tomales, and her tombstone shows her date of birth as December 20, 1840, but data from Swiss records indicate that her true birth date was September 18, 1838. Her husband, Charles Pozzi, is the brother of Morris Pozzi who was married to Giudita’s niece, Marianna Vanoni.
